Community Care Day

Thank you for another great year! Because of our school families, Community Care Day was a success! Our community came together and served over 700 hours work to help improve our school grounds and saved the school an estimated $10,000.
Community Care Day is an opportunity for you and your family to physically make Holy Family School a better place. On Community Care Days families will come together and work to improve the school and the school grounds. Each grade is assigned a special month where they will host the Community Care Day event. Of course, all families may come any month to help out (Community service hours will be given to participants including all junior high students. All students must bring an adult to work with them). Work can include: washing windows, scrubbing desks and chairs, re-fluffing the tanbark in the little playground (to make the area safer for our kinder students), painting the playground, power washing picnic benches, routine maintenance and repairs, moving objects, gardening, and preparing for upcoming event.
